McNeil Consumer Healthcare, part of Johnson & Johnson, is voluntarily withdrawing some cough and cold OTC (over-the-counter, non-prescription) drugs for infants. Prostate Cancer Raises Hip Fracture Risk Substantially For 50 To 65 Year-olds

Men who have prostate cancer are on average four times more likely to suffera hip fracture, with rates rising to eight times in men aged 50 to 65, accordingto a study of more than 60,000 men published in the October issue of theurology journal BJU International. Danish researchers looked at 62,865 men aged 50 and over, with an averageage of just under 67. 15,716 had suffered a fracture of some description and 47,149 formed thenon-fracture control group.
