BRCA Mutations Do Not Adversely Affect Overall Survival In Women With Breast Cancer


Women who have mutations in the BRCA genes, which are the most common familial mutations known to confer a higher risk of developing breast cancers, are no more likely to die from their disease than non-carriers, according to research published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
