Exclusive Breastfeeding Lowers Babies’ Risk Of Postnatal Infection With HIV


When HIV-positive mothers breastfeed exclusively, their babies have only a low risk of postnatal infection with HIV*. But early introduction of animal milks and solid foods increases HIV transmission risks.
